Job Description:

• PHP Developer that will be working with the aftermarket information system teams.
• This candidate will work with an agile team designing, molding, and managing translation systems.
• Some of the days will be working tickets while managing the customer facing information system.
• The manager is looking for someone with PHP experience.

Summary:

• Develop and design web applications and web sites.
• Responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement, and maintenance.
• The technical skills include a knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required 8-10 years' experience required.

Required:

• PHP experience
• Relational database experience
• Unit Testing skills (TDD).
• Responsibility level Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Skills Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
• Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
• Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, Java, SQL, etc (Required)

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise the design, build or maintenance of web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media.
• Supervise the writing, design, or editing web page content.
• Direct web site updates.
• Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and approve the correction of problem.
• Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
• Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces.
• Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education
