As a Senior DevSecOps Engineer, You Will:

• Create and maintain automation pipelines using cutting-edge DevSecOps tools like GitLab.
• Manage Artifact/Image repositories to ensure safe storage and versioning of software artifacts and container images.
• Engineer robust infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices with tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Implement IaC across multiple environments for consistency, repeatability, and scalability.
• Utilize native cloud services, particularly AWS EKS, to ensure applications are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Adopt FinOps practices to optimize cloud resource expenditures.
• Work with VMWare Tanzu CloudHealth to monitor and optimize cloud spending.
• Provide strategic insights to enhance FinOps maturity and optimize resource allocation.
• Ensure all systems meet rigorous security standards through advanced automation and best practices implementation.

To Be Successful, You Need:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• 7 years of DevOps experience 
• Expertise in creating CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Bamboo
• Proficiency with automation tools and container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Artifact/Image repositories
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible
• Strong knowledge of cloud services, especially AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, and AWS security practices
• Experience with FinOps tools like VMWare Tanzu CloudHealth or similar applications for cloud cost management
• Solid understanding of system security requirements, including compliance and best practices in a DevSecOps culture

• Relevant certifications in AWS, Security, or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) are highly preferred.
