SOFT's client located in Richmond, VA 9 (Hybrid / Remote) is looking for a MS Power Platform Developer for a long term contract assignment.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Power Platform development with significant experience Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams and SharePoint Online
2. 3 years onboarding teams onto Power Platform and experience in migrating large scale applications to Power Platform. Strong consulting and support skills required to guide the team’s solution their solution end state.
3. Experience reviewing Power Platform releases, evaluating environment risk, and moving release through different environments. Knowledge of Azure DevOps and the Power Platform release life cycle.
4. Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services. Solid understanding of Azure AAD & Application Registrations, experience troubleshooting platform issues / outages across the Power Platform and Azure infrastructure. Provides proactive identification of potential platform issues through application of SRE skills.
5. 1-2 years of experience with Dataverse
6. 1 years developing / supporting REST API’s
7. 1 Experience with Azure SQL Server, SQL Gateways
8. Basic networking protocols and understanding JSON
9. Background in platform governance and setting enterprise standards is a big plus.
10. PowerShell experience is a huge plus
11. Understanding of security within Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform applications
12. Strong communication and collaboration skills
13. Strong technical documentation skills

Responsibilities:
The Power Platform engineer will be embedded on an agile squad that is responsible for enabling new platform capabilities, providing technical guidance for customers coming onto the platform, supporting incident/change management activities, ensuring security/compliance rules are being applied correctly, and developing API's for external connections.

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
