Soft Tech Consulting is Hiring a Technical Project Manager Near Arlington, VA

Overview

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of Technical Project Manager for one of our government clients. The selected individual will join a collaborative team environment where they will provide support and expertise toward the successful deliver of the project deliverables. Key to the success of this position is the effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting project status. The place of performance for this contract is in Arlington, VA.

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE

WORK LOCATION ONSITE IN ARLINGTON, VA (HYBRID)

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to manage engagements to include schedule tracking, meeting coordination, and tracking documents provided by external partners;
  • Manage cost, schedule and performance of assigned programs;
  • support the CTO with current and future projects researching and developing policy documents as necessary.
  • Create management, communication plans and processes.
  • Analyze and develop procedures for management and technical duties.
  • Define project responsibilities with stakeholders.
  • Participate in how budget and staff are allocated for the project.
  • Maintain project time frames, budget estimates and status reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of overall experience
  • Experience with RPA, Power BI, Tableau
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors and management
  • Analytical, computer, math and problem-solving skills to be able to use software and to explain the software
  • Organizational skills and time management skills to keep projects on track to the finish
  • Project managing skills to start projects and finish projects successfully
