1. Support Sofidel America’s Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP to promote a safe, sanitary and hygienically sound workplace.
2. Understand and apply customer specifications to the operation of the machine to ensure finished goods comply with customer requirements.
3. Program and monitor computerized operating panel. Calculate and determine proper core size, roll diameters, required footage and perforation.
4. Initiate set up, operations, and adjustments of the rewinder and all down-stream equipment to achieve established production quota.
5. Program log saw and clamp product in log saw. Determine and verify cut accuracy and adjust as needed.
6. Perform hourly quality checks to ensure accuracy of production run and the submittal of daily quality reports to QA department. 
7. Monitors and performs product changeovers in conjunction with the Rapid Changeover Technicians (RCO Techs).
8. Adjust embossing unit and change core chuck as needed.
9. Ensure regular and open communications with quality, maintenance and supervision.
10. Train and monitor the activity of the other employees on the roll line.
11. Demonstrate leadership skills on regular, consistent basis.
12. Work the 12-hour rotating shift requirement.
13. Keep work area clean and organized while following the lean initiatives.

OTHER DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

1. Perform or assist with any operations, as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules and quality requirements. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.
2. Maintain safe work area and comply with safety procedures and equipment operating rules keeping work area in a clean and orderly condition.
3. Participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
4. Perform other related duties as assigned.
