Job Description:
Student Transit, a subsidiary of Sodrel Truck Lines, is looking for a Transportation Manager to help run the day-to-day school bus operations for the Richmond, Indiana Community Schools. Sodrel Truck Lines began offering transportation services in 1915 and has been proudly providing continuous and uninterrupted service ever since.
The primary responsibilities for this role are:

• Providing leadership to the team
• Communicating regularly with drivers, parents, and school personnel regarding transportation arrangements, challenges, and changes
• Maintaining a variety of manual and electronic documents, files and records
• Coordinating dispatch
• Ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students to and from school and other activities

Job Requirements:
Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• At least three years of supervisory experience
• Experience with school bus transporation
• Ability to adapt to changing work priorities in order to meet deadlines and schedules
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Experience with BusBoss, or willinglness or train and learn in the use of this software
• Good problem-solving skills
