Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality care to our patients. Your role will involve assisting with various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures

- Assist the dentist and dental hygienist during procedures

- Take digital dental x-rays

- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models

- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices

- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records

Experience:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology

- Familiarity with CAD systems for designing dental restorations is a plus

- Ability to take vital signs and perform patient assessments

- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
