Overview
As part of the Operations Reference Data Services (ORDS) Regulatory Transformation team, you will be responsible for understanding and implementing various US Regulations. Duties and tasks involve regular interactions with various teams such as Compliance, Legal, operations, reporting and technology. Youll be responsible for the complete life cycle of the project from gathering requirements, defining project scope/impact/parameters to delivering technical specifications and testing.

What Youll Do
Understand and be able to guidance across EMEA and US regulations, such as MiFID, Regulation (EU) No 648/2012 of July 4, 2012 on OTC derivatives, central counterparties and trade repositories (European Market Infrastructure Regulation) (EMIR), Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Dodd Frank, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Swap Based Securities Dodd Frank, Volcker, Reg W, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) 2111, FINRA 4210, Reg D/QIBs, Foreign Bank Certificates, 15a6 and Reg O Business Management etc
Manage and help develop top talent within the Change the Bank (CTB) space. Provide postproduction and defect support to the Business as Usual (BAU) team
Identify risk and escalate appropriately in a timely manner. Be able to identify and raise up risk items to management
Act as a primary point of contact for regulatory transformation changes and train team members on any new regulatory changes
Work with Compliance and Legal on exception and/or escalations cases and see them through to completion
Act in the Product Owner capacity by defining requirements, prioritize backlog while maintaining oversight of the overall project progress. Direct the development team throughout the project and ensure the development is fit for purpose and will satisfy all requirements
How Youll Lead
Develop comprehensive project plans, and act as a central point of contact for all transformation related tasks
Develop and capture implementation requirements in the form of Agile stories and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Manage stakeholder engagement and provide regular communication updates on project progress, deadlines, dependencies, and challenges
Skills Youll Need
Motivated self-starter with very strong organizational skills, attention to detail and solutions-oriented, positive can do attitude
Proven record of independently and proactively managing projects from start to conclusion, including scope, stakeholder communication, escalations and follow ups
Ability to work in a non-structured environment, knowing what task the next priority is without being told
Ability to identify issues and assess root causes and provide solutions with a proven level of analytical, problem solving and resource planning skills. Ability to think not only in black and white but also be able to think analytically in grey areas by utilizing resources at hand (i.e., Key Operating Procedures, reading through regulations etc.)
Prior knowledge/exposure of US & EMEA regulations within an operational or control department within a banking / financial environment, or within a similar operational regulatory function
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Knowledge of MS suite of products, including the ability to use basic Excel functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc
Competent business user of MS products and Outlook. Internet liberate to enable online searches. Must know MS Excel. Knowledge of Markit ISDA Amend is a plus
Knowledge of Reference Data Systems and Regulations along with product and end-to-end system knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of JIRA and familiarity with AGILE methodology is a plus
Knowledge and/or experience in a financial institution. Understanding of the workings of an investment bank and the lifecycle of a trade is a plus
Expectations
It is the Banks expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Banks hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $100,000 to $155,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidates skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
