Position Overview

The Food Service Specialist is responsible for taking customer orders, preparing menu items, and/or packaging of the food product for the store while maintaining the high standards of the restaurant/store and displaying a friendly attitude.

Job Duties:

  • Follow health and safety guidelines for food storage and handling.
  • Prep food products for the day
  • Learn hot/cold times and temperatures for each food item.
  • Make sandwiches, burgers, and chicken as applicable per store location.
  • Operate kitchen machinery, slicer, mixer, fryers, fryer safety, and packaging machine.
  • Receive and inspect the product. 
  • Accurately package and label products. (Food dating).
  • Follow HACCP programs, including verification and documentation of product. 
  • Follow daily cleaning schedules and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and proper rotation of products.

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to reach, stoop, and bend frequently.
  • Some food service experience preferred.
  • Able to follow multi-step directions.

Requirements:

  • Must be 16 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must complete food safety class within 90 days of hire date.

Location: Store #110, located at 630 HWY 16, Emmett Idaho 83617

HoursPart-time, 8-29 hours/week. The usual schedule will be noon - 6 pm Thursday - Sunday

Days:Days and times may vary; including weekends, evenings, and some holidays.

Pay: Starts at 13.50 Depending on experience
