Job Title: Spanish Bilingual Family Case Manager

Compensation: $55,000 to $65,000 annually

Summary: This position serves the Council by responding to neighbors who require assistance and might be outside the scope of our volunteers, or who have been referred by other agencies or programs within our agency like the helpline or Centro Rendu. The focus of this position is to provide culturally relevant and specialized and progressive case management service for individuals and families. Requires mastery of both English/Spanish languages. This role requires traveling to various sites where Centro Rendu provides services to the Latino community and home visits from time to time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of this position shall include, but are not limited to the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed by the Council.

Minimum Qualifications: In order to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, an individual must possess the knowledge, training, skills and experience indicated by the following:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and/or in a related field, plus 1 year of work and/or equivalent volunteer experience.

Bilingual English/Spanish speaking ability is required.

This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ease in addressing groups of clients and communicating with diverse workgroups. Ability to read, analyze, and understand general business periodicals, journals, technical procedures, safety manuals, and regulations. Applicant must have the ability to write reports.

Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office software is required. Familiarity with client-based software and email communications will be essential to regular communications and reporting.

Must have the ability and creativity in resolving practical societal problems quickly and in situations where there is limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form is needed.

Social work related trainings and certificates are preferred.

Must have the ability to work with basic mathematical concepts. Must be able to understand common financial reports, payroll records, and cash management reports.
