Social Service Professionals, "the Professional's Choice" for Social Work and Therapy is looking for a Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) to provide in-patient medical services to patients at a hospital in the Inland Empire, CA. Choose from working in Ontario, CA or Fontana, CA. The ACSW is expected to cover all areas and departments of the hospital, including the ER Department.

Examples of Essential Duties:

Evaluate patients’ psycho-social needs;

Evaluate patients’ family/social situation to support a treatment plan;

Participate in on-going counseling;

Make recommendations to the healthcare team for appropriate psycho-social support;

Utilize community resources to assist patients’ psycho-social needs;

Document history, care plans and prepare reports as needed.

Education Requirement:

Graduation from an approved Social Work Master's program.

Qualifications:

Current registration on the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW);

Current AHA-approved CPR card;

Experience working in an In-Patient Medical setting.
