Youth Soccer Coach (2 - 8yr old Children)

$18 an hour - Part-time
 | Soccer Shots Orange County is seeking a positive individual, with a passion for teaching & working with children. Soccer Shots introduces soccer to children ages 2-8 at preschools all over the Orange County area. We are currently in need of a great youth soccer coach to help us run sessions at several of our centers in Orange County. We offer rewarding work and GREAT PAY (STARTING at $18 per session). Previous teaching experience is a BIG plus.
Coaching Description: Classes are Monday through Friday in preschools and Saturdays at park programs in select locations, 30-60 minutes for each session depending on age. We provide training, coaching equipment, and all curriculum materials. We pay $18 for each session (STARTING). We are prioritizing a soccer coach that will be available for multiple sessions throughout the week and specifically for our afternoon sessions (NEED: Tues/Wed/Thurs starting at 2:30pm). This part-time soccer coach position is available immediately. Essential Soccer Coach Qualifications: Available – Minimum 3 weekday AFTERNOONS (including Wednesday) Saturday mornings (9:00 am - 11:00am), and must minimally commit through the school year Fun & Silly – enjoys having FUN with young children, being goofy, using your imagination, and watching children smile. MUST enjoy teaching young children, be able to confidently connect with children primarily ages 2-5. Your goal is to make Soccer Shots the best 30-45min of each child's week. Reliable transportation – must have safe and reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license. Background check cleared – successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check. Tb test resultsPreferred Soccer Coach Qualifications: Experience working with children CPR/First Aid certified or ability to attain if needed. Previous teaching or education/coaching experience (preferably children ages 2-8)Please submit COVER LETTER articulating why you would a phenomenal soccer coach and a resume.
