Soccer Shots - Kalamazoo is Hiring a Youth Soccer Coach Near Kalamazoo, MI

Youth Soccer Instructor/Early Childhood Educator needed for children ages 2-8
Soccer Shots (the official two to five-year-old program of US Youth Soccer) is looking to expand our team of dynamic early childhood instructors to accommodate our growth in the Kalamazoo, Portage and Battle Creek area. 
Soccer Shots is the #1 Children’s Fitness franchise in the country. Why? Aside from the incredible curriculum, leadership, and passion, it’s because we only hire the best instructors to work with our children. We take our work with children very seriously, and it is vital that you are incredibly passionate about working with children. We aim to make a positive lasting impact on children and help grow their confidence both on and off the field. 
The ideal coach MUST meet the following criteria: 
  • Responsible: Arrives on time to each session, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, communicates well with Soccer Shots director of coaching, etc.
  • Professional: Neat in appearance, friendly and courteous with day care center staff and director as well as parents, self-assured.
  • Enthusiastic: Must enjoy interacting with young children (2 – 8 years old), and be able to connect with them on their level, making the Soccer Shots class the best part of their week. You must be very outgoing and animated; able to be silly with the children. Experience with children is required.
  • Soccer: Soccer experience is a plus but is not necessary!
  • Transportation: Must have your own, reliable transportation and valid license and car insurance.
  • Equipment: Must own and have daily access to a computer, printer, and internet.
We currently have sessions Monday through Thursday mornings and afternoons as well as Saturday mornings. Sessions run year round and take place at childcare centers, recreation centers, parks and elementary schools. Session start times vary depending upon location and season but typically fall within the following timeframes and repeat each week: morning (8:30 am - 12 pm) or afternoon (3:30 pm - 6:45pm). We are looking for candidates who are able to commit to a complete season.
