SOC is Hiring a Program Analyst - Washington, DC (Hybrid) - Ability to Obtain Public Trust Requi Near Richmond, VA
Program Analyst needed for a Contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Washington, DC (hybrid & onsite 2 days per week).Contract Length: 6 months, possibility to extend or convert to client FTE*Ability to obtain a Public Trust is required to be considered for this role.The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:* Detailed-oriented mindset and proficiency in researching and analyzing information.* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.* Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated and willingness to multi-task and take on increasing responsibilities within the organization.* Ability to independently establish and manage priorities for fulfilling work assigned.Responsibilities include:* Provide general project management and organizational operations support.* Prepare for and participate in meetings, including recurring tactical and strategic meetings.* Record and distribute meeting minutes and required action item follow-up.* Provide meeting facilitation support to management teams or sub-teams.* Produce communications materials such as stakeholder messaging and executive communications.* Provide reviews for quality assurance for artifacts prior to reviews by Director or Deputy Director.* Support strategic and business planning and management processes such as staffing, succession planning, or as-needed business management and program control requirements.* Develop program briefings to senior executives and other internal/external stakeholders, including presentation agendas, outlines, and talking points to support these engagements or events.* Some travel may be required.Required Qualifications:* A BA/BS in any discipline is required. A Masters' degree in any field (e.g., MS, MA, MBA) counts for three years of additional experience.* At least 10 years of hands-on professional experience, preferably in a program management support context.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* Expert in MS Office suite.* Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.* Experience with project planning, developing standard operating procedures, and process improvement.* Experience facilitating meetings with varying numbers of participants.* Ability to work with little supervision and to support management, including executive levels.* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite - PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel.Employment Pre-requisitesThe following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation and drug urinalysis.SOC, a Day & Zimmermann company, is an Equal Opportunity Employer, EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability.In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the pay rate for this role is $65-68/hr.
