With 6 to 10 years of experience of planning in California, you will know how to research, ascertain a regulatory environmental path forward, and manage, write, and deliver all facets of CEQA and NEPA planning documents in California. From an EIR/EIS to a CATEX and everything in between. Your experience will aid you in working with our management team during client and prospect meetings, understanding their environmental requirements, and articulately recommending a path forward toward successful procurement of the project. You will work with our experienced team, being the 'planning' voice and motivating them in the successful completion and submission of environmental documents on time and on budget. You will work with jurisdictional planning departments and know how to successfully communicate to them in support of our clients with planners. It's a lot, we know, but that's you. Right? Experienced in the CEQA process
Working with all stakeholders, from developers to lead agencies, to complete each step in the process efficiently
Creating long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources
Delegating tasks on the project to specialist best positioned to complete them
Identifying and managing potential challenges of multiple projects
Assisting in the definition of project scope and goals
Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
Communicating with Senior team members to keep the project aligned with their goals
Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed
Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time
