Soap Creek Resources is Hiring a Maintenance Tech - J332 Near Hampton, IA
The Maintenance Technician is a 3rd shift position. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various types of machinery and equipment, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. Duties And QualificationsIncluding but not limited to:
High school diploma.
Preferred 2-year technical degree with foundry experience.
Hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical or PLC experience.
Five plus years experience in plant maintenance.
Demonstrated organization and delegation ability.
Ability to organize and lead a team.
Ability to physically inspect plant properties where climbing steps, ladders, and physical exertion is a primary responsibility.
Must have strong knowledge of foundry equipment and maintenance processes to help diagnose problems and fix equipment-related issues.
Must have good mechanical aptitude, good communication, and training skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to work without detailed work instructions.
Ability to hold all department employees accountable for meeting safety, quality, and performance metrics.
Must be able to produce and sustain results that support company and departmental metrics.
Strong root cause analysis.
Must be able to pass knowledge to all department employees.
