Job Details
- Plan field testing and execute testing during the development process.
- Provide support to the direct development of all department projects. Create technical documents to train managers and team members.
- Create a return on investment (ROI) model for individual products that include initial cost, maintenance, consumable costs, interest depreciation, and insurance. Compare the ROI of company models to other competitive products and process costs.
- Compose and/or evaluate charts that show the performance/efficiency of company products in multiple conditions.
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, preferably Geospatial, Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum three years previous job experience and/or training in Engineering and performance/efficiency analysis; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Knowledge of the applicable industries, including the equipment and processes used, the operational planning required, the overall management of the business, and an understanding of factors that create higher productivity and profitability key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Knowledge of specific industries, i.e. recycling, forestry, biomass, mining, pipeline, utility, etc., equipment selection, and associated cutting tools and patterns.
- Knowledge in the areas of engineering, hydrostatic and control systems, and diesel engines.
- Ability to provide informative and professional assistance when working with customers and co-workers.
- Multi-lingual proficiency is preferred (key languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese).
- Significant travel is expected of this position.
