Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our furry guests. This role requires a strong passion for animals and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Available positions: 7am - 1pm (2 mornings) 2pm - 9pm (3 evenings).

The other position is 2pm - 9 pm ( 4 evenings)

Responsibilities:

- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, and exercise.

- Clean and maintain kennels, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment

- Administer medications.

- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel

- Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and care

- Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing their questions and concerns

Skills:

- Previous experience in pet care, veterinary assistance, or a related field is preferred

- Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for animals
