Job Description:

Snug Harbor Rehabilitation & Recovery is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients in our detox and residential programs. As an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our clients throughout their treatment journey.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring of clients during detoxification process
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and overall health status of clients
• Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide education and support to clients regarding medication management, health promotion, and self-care strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and client progress
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing nursing practice and patient care

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in a behavioral health or addiction treatment setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to client care
• Knowledge of addiction treatment principles and practices preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
