Job Summary:

As a Lead Barista at Snoice, you will elevate the guest experience and lead your team with excellence and hospitality. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every customer interaction is infused with our community spirit and passion for high-quality, innovative desserts and beverages. With your expertise in team leadership and product knowledge, you will inspire your team, oversee operational efficiency, and contribute to Snoice’s vibrant atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional hospitality and service, setting a high standard for the team and ensuring an outstanding experience for every guest.
• Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning among the team, particularly in the areas of teas, coffee, and merchandise.
• Anticipate guest needs to enhance the service experience, always being a step ahead in providing hospitality.
• Serve as a key resource for the team, assisting with problem-solving, guest relations, and maintaining product quality.
• Strategically deploy team members to optimize guest experience and operational efficiency.
• Safeguard store assets through adherence to safety, food handling, security, maintenance, and cash handling procedures.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and communication of any potential shortages.
• Effectively communicate vital information within the team, upholding a standard of clarity, timeliness, and confidentiality.
• Exemplify and promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and respect, in alignment with Snoice’s values.
• Actively contribute to the growth and development of team members, providing coaching, feedback, and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Support management in succession planning and the recruitment of new barista candidates, ensuring a strong, cohesive team.

• A minimum of one year of work experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or retail industry.
• A proven track record of leadership, with the ability to foster team unity and drive excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage positively with team members and guests.
• Effective time management, delegation, and problem-solving skills, able to make judicious decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week
