    Job Summary: This is a 1.0 FTE non-continuing contract position for a 2nd Grade Teacher beginning in the 2024-2025 school year. Under the direction of the Principal, responsible for helping students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible citizens. Specific responsibilities for this position are as described on the attached job description.
    Salary Range: $70,006 - $138,991 (anticipated increase for the 2024-2025 school year) per the Snohomish Education Association Total Compensation Salary Schedule. Placement on the salary schedule is determined by official documentation verifying educational level and work experience. Salary will be prorated for less than a full-year and/or part-time employees.
    Contract: 180-days
    Endorsement Required: Elementary Education
    Qualifications:
    • Valid State of Washington teaching certificate with appropriate endorsement.
    • Possess and maintain a valid First Aid and CPR certification for duration of employment with the District when required for position by Board Policy.
    Applicant are responsible for determining that they have the appropriate endorsement and current Washington State certification for the position.

Generally, you are eligible for SEBB benefits if you are anticipated to work at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31).
