SNIPES is a global sneaker and streetwear retailer with almost 400 doors in Europe and over 300 doors in the US. Key brands include Nike, Jordan, adidas, New Balance, Timberland and UGGs. We are deeply engrained in our neighborhoods and work with many local partners to provide experiences and tell our stories – be it at community events, music festivals, basketball tournaments, dance contests, in one of our 700 state-of-the-art doors. To ensure our stories have reach, we also regularly work with global partners such as our Chief Creative Officer DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, or brands such as Sony PlayStation and Sprite.

We entered the US market in 2019 through four acquisitions and have been extremely well-received by our communities, customers, and brand partners. We are geared up to invest more in our communities, our brand, and points of sale to unlock further growth across the US.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the buyers in the order process through preparation of order documents
• Supporting the buyers in preparation and completion of orders through data analysis & data processing
• Sales and Margin Analysis and devise actions to maximize opportunities
• Identify Regional opportunities by working with key partners
• Manage the product- & order flow according to business targets
• Merchandise planning - tailor the merchandise plan by product type; by price point
• Correspond with vendors both written and verbal by making appointments with vendors
• Creation and distribution of reports
• Assist with entry of purchase orders into merchandise management system
• Data maintenance & administration in merchandise management system
• Constant orderbook maintenance in exchange with the vendors, as well as the merchandising and planning & allocation teams
• Exchange with planning & allocation regarding orderbook and delivery date updates
• Exchange with logistics department to support with fast processing of deliveries
• Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and making recommendations for process improvements
• Coordination, Tracking and communication of product releases & campaigns
• Markdown & Return management

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred
• 3 year retail buying experience required
• Strong knowledge of Excel, working knowledge of all other Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail, highly accurate data entry at rapid pace
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
