Sr. Preconstruction MGT- Denver
Job Functions / Duties:
- Vertical Ground Up Knowledge 20M-50M (Commercial Hotels, Hospitals, Universities, Stadiums, etc)
- Manage and administer department functions including operating budgets, staffing, wage reviews, work assignments, performance evaluations, etc.
- Assist corporate and project management to determine what types of projects to bid, strategies, techniques, etc.
- Review all final estimate packages to insure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation
- Participate in presentations to corporate management and Clients. May be responsible for closing the "sale"
- Four year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience, Construction Management Degree .
- Advanced management or technical training preferred. Extensive (10 years) experience in similar facility with commercial construction estimating and related functions plus thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts required
- Excellent organizational, supervisory and decision making/problem solving skills are essential
- Knowledge working in Bluebeam or Proctor or equivalent systems.
- Ability to know profit and loss responsibility influencing corporate success or failure
