Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team as the #1 Children STEAM Enrichment Franchise. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the lead teacher to provide support and assistance in the classroom. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in early childhood education and working with children in a daycare or private school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Greet parents and students, and assist with any front office registration
• Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and curriculum development
• Support students in their learning journey, providing one-on-one assistance as needed
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Help with classroom management and behavior management strategies
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to create engaging and interactive learning activities
• Assist with the preparation of materials and resources for lessons
• Provide individualized attention to students, addressing their unique needs
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized classroom

Qualifications:

• Criminal and Child Clearances must be current
• Previous experience working in a childcare or educational setting is preferred
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
• Focused on bringing a fun environment to the classroom is key

Programs:

• Weekday after-school and/or evening classes
