Registered Nurse - Acute Care/Operating Room Circulator

SnapCare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in acute surgical care to join our healthcare team. As an OR RN, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our patients in a post-acute care setting.

Qualifications:

· Candidates must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing

· Current unrestricted TN RN license

· Current BLS certification

· Current OR circulating experience required

Responsibilities:

Circulating nurses have a crucial role in the surgery setting. For example, circulating nurses may ensure all patient paperwork is completed, such as consent forms. During the procedure, nurses may also document what takes place. They are a patient advocate in that they assure that safety procedures are being met. Circulating nurses may also replenish surgical supplies as needed during the procedure. After the procedure, they may verify instrument count and complete charting and other related duties. Being detail oriented is also a needed skill for OR nurses. Small mistakes in the operating room can have a big impact on a patient’s condition. Nurses must also be able to handle several things at once. For instance, they may need to listen to the surgeon, monitor the patient and assist with the procedure at the same time.

Pay: $79,000.00 - $87,360.00 per year
