Shift Available : 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm, Monday-Friday

Compensation is based on skills and experience

Key Responsibilities for Cutter Operator include :

  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining quality work from various machines within finishing
  • Inspecting for printing defects, requiring close attention to detail
  • Preparing appropriate quality sign-off documentation for assigned tasks
  • Performing required preventive maintenance on assigned finishing equipment
  • Working closely with teams / departments to create an environment that supports workflow and continuous improvements of finishing operations

The ideal candidate for Cutter Operator must demonstrate :

  • Ability to make fact-based decisions and troubleshoot print and press problems to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies (hardware and software)
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines on multiple long- and short-term projects
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with a diverse group of people and personalities
  • Ability to provide high levels of customer service, responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquires of internal customers

Education, Skills, and Experience for Finishing Operator :

  • Required : High school diploma or equivalent
  • Required : Ability to lift up to 50lbs, as well as stand and bend throughout the shift
  • Required : Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language
  • Preferred : One or more years’ experience in a similar role in printing
  • A Plus : Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ISO quality systems
