SMX is Hiring a SharePoint Developer Near Camarillo, CA
SMX is seeking a SharePoint/Web Developer to support the IMITSS program. The individual will be capable of working independently, able to act with a sense of urgency, and willing to contribute as an active member of the team. This role will be responsible for development and maintenance of customer FlankSpeed data tools and applications as well as the development of new and transitioning existing tools to the FlankSpeed environment.
This position requires a DoD secret security which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- General software development tasks
- Proficient in writing technical documentation
- Problem analysis, solution identification, maintaining (writing code), debugging, and testing of software tools
- Attending and contributing to customer and development team meetings
Required Skills & Experience
- Clearance required: Secret (or ability to obtain)
- Strong experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Develop including building custom web parts, extension, and solutions
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
- Working knowledge of administering SharePoint sites including user administration tasks, including site configuration, permissions management, and content migration
- Proficient in of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficient in understanding backend technologies such as, C# and NET
- OData and REST API experience for querying and manipulating SharePoint data
- Teaming and Analytical Skills/Experience
- Ability to self-learn
- Flexibility, adaptability, and punctuality
- Good organizational and dependable time management skills
- Strong communications skills, verbal and written
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Ability to pay attention to detail, thoroughly and accurately
- Ability to follow instructions
- Good problem-solving skills (analytical thinking)
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Desired Skills & Experience
- Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Developer (or an equivalent)
- Experience working in the FlankSpeed (Microsoft 0365)
- Experience working in ServiceNow
