The Sales Representative will produce a high quality level of selling, serving our existing customers and developing a pipeline and new prospects.
Essential Responsibilities
Support Sales Manager in executing strategic plans to improve overall company’s revenue and margins
Assists Sales Manager in developing new market opportunities in designated territory or market (cross-selling)
Creates business plans to grow market share, product margin, and book of business within territory
Provides outstanding service to existing clients, obtains orders (incl. client specifications) and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call & travel to existing or potential clients
Actively works on identifying, soliciting, developing, and securing new business opportunities within territory
Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
Customer Care - identifies, maintains and develops contacts within existing clients to improve client satisfaction
Coordinates value added services to clients by using various company resources (e.g. Design, Quality etc.)
Deliveries bi-weekly reports & analysis to Sales Manager, General Manager(s) and VP US Packaging on sales forecast, new business, budget preparations etc.
Responsible for overall account management, i.e. managing working capital, inventory, accounts receivables, record keeping, maintains sales agreements, credit terms of clients etc.
Actively works with finance to mediate against any potential financial risks - credit terms
Works closely with Estimation Team on pricing, tenders etc. for existing and new business
Works with Design Team to develop solutions/samples for existing and potential clients, demonstrating product features, capabilities etc. to improve existing designs and develop new designs
Prepares, organizes and delivers tailored client presentations, introducing clients to Performance Packaging, new products etc.
Proactively resolves client challenges by analyzing problems, seeks opportunities and develops solutions & new improvements with the team (Production, Design, Quality, Customer Service etc.)
Keep up to date on new developments / technical knowledge, learning & development by attending workshops & trade shows; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks etc.
Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.

Qualifications
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree (business, finance) preferred
A valid driver’s license is required with a good driving record
5 years’ experience in sales within Corrugated Industry
Strong financial knowledge and good analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (verbal and written), dealing with individuals at all levels; comfortable to represent the company in the best possible light, using various means of communication (presentations, client briefs etc.)
High energy, with the ability to work in fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced excel), CRM (of advantage)
Self-motivated and committed individual, strong work ethic
Well-versed Negotiation Skills
Physical Requirements
To successfully perform the essential functions of this role it requires the ability to: stand occasionally, walk frequently, frequent use of hands (reach with hands and arms), view computer monitor, use telephone, speak and listen frequently. The role requires occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
