Compensation:$20 - $26 hourly
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the programs for assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles & tool inventories
- Assist with vehicle and trailer acquisition
- Scheduling regular maintenance on all vehicles to minimize vehicle downtime
- Monitoring drivers to ensure adherence to proper driving practices
- Assist in the registration and licensing of all vehicles
- Maintain detailed records of vehicle servicing and inspections
- Ensure all fleet drivers have proper licensing and up-to-date training
- Preparing and providing reports to management on budgeting, schedules, maintenance, and fleet progress
- Assist purchasing/renting vehicles as needed to expand/enhance fleet
- Assist with the purchasing of parts/tools for vehicles
- Maintaining safety, tool, and supply inventory
- On call for emergency rescue & recovery coordination
- Safety sensitive position
- Experience with fleet
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed
- Exceptional organizational skills, time management and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with transportation/maintenance management software
- Knowledge of state and DOT regulations
- Proficient in basic computer software and can quickly learn to use new programs
