Job Title: Software Developer II (Cloud Engineer)
Location: North Chicago, IL, US
Job Type: Contract, 11 months
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00/Hr.
Shift Structure:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Onsite (with a possibility of working Remotely)

Job Summary:
- To further the Infrastructure as Code practice at the Company. This role will be instrumental in expanding our use of Terraform in the public cloud space and will be relied upon as a source of knowledge for the technologies listed below.
About the Role:
- Primary function is to develop software
- Software development responsibilities include executing software development life cycle activities from software requirements
- Design and implementation through design verification
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source automation tools for provisioning and configuration management (Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Vault)
- Ability to define pipelines in Jenkins or Azure DevOps for provisioning infrastructure
- Ability to code and script in support of infrastructure management
- Experience with Enterprise systems and IT operations
- Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Understanding and focus on business outcomes
- Understanding and efficiency in collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
Must Have:
- Over 4-5 years of experience working with Infrastructure as Code
- 2-3 years of experience with AWS and Azure
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as GitLab pipelines
- Experience with Enterprise versions of Terraform and Vault
- Experience with Docker Enterprise
- Experience with Jenkins
- Experience with Containers / K8s
