Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment.

Your expertise in materials handling and heavy equipment operation will be crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Location : Detroit

Pay : $21.00

Responsibilities :

• Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment according to safety guidelines
• Perform pre-operational checks on cranes to ensure they are in proper working condition
• Safely secure loads using appropriate rigging techniques
• Communicate with team members to coordinate lifting operations
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to all safety protocols
• Inspect and maintain crane equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed

Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills :

• Experience operating a variety of cranes, including Hi-Lo and Clamp trucks
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with crane equipment
• Familiarity with shipping receiving processes and warehouse management systems
