Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our retail establishment. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, weekly truck orders and inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Train and develop new employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed
- Conduct employee orientations and ongoing training sessions to promote professional growth
- Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient store operations
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Store Manager to maintain appropriate stock levels
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase market share
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new employees
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales/fast food
- Strong training and development skills
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with customers
- Ability to effectively manage shifts and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Experience conducting interviews and making hiring decisions
