Our staff members are highly skilled and experienced Professional Engineers (PEs) with licenses to practice in most states. We provide services to clients from a broad range of industries. Our client list comprises developers, small- and large-scale contractors, builders, EPC companies, architect offices, public agencies, and power companies. Smoky Hill Engineering has an opening for a quality control (QC) engineer for ongoing construction projects.
Entry-level quality control (QC) engineer responsible for inspecting and observe daily construction activities that include but are not limited to airfield pavements, underground utilities, concrete, CMU walls, fireproofing, waterproofing, building skins, etc. The candidate should be able to read and understand project drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and RFIs. The ideal candidate for this position is a fast learner, able to monitor multiple construction activities on a given day, has good verbal and written communication skills, and has a civil or structural engineering degree or equivalent experience.
