Smokin’ J’s BBQ is seeking friendly, energetic, and customer focused individuals to join our FOH team at our newest location in Downtown San Diego. We are hiring part time hostsand servers that will make our customers feel like the luckiest customers in San Diego when they dine with us.

Pay is $16.30/hr plus tips.

Responsibilities:

• Opening and/or closing procedures
• Taking orders, handling the POS system (Toast) and cash drawer
• Getting non-alcoholic beverages for guests
• Running food and bussing tables
• Ensuring the dining room stays clean and organized
• Making to-go cups for sauces, ketchup, and other condiments
• Answering general customer questions
• Taking phone orders
• Making milkshakes to order

Requirements:

• Minimum two years in customer service
• Strong organizational and team working skills
• Food Handlers or ServSafe Certified
• Attention to detail and cleanliness

Physical Requirements:

• Walking and standing for 5- 8 hour shifts
• Occasional bending
