The Staffing Coordinator at Smokey Point Behavioral Hospital plays a pivotal role in ensuring optimal nursing staffing and support for the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). As an integral member of the nursing leadership team, this position is dedicated to maintaining safe and adequate staffing levels across all units. • Providing daily staffing for RNs, LVNs, and MHTs. 
• Process PTO requests, manage call-ins and absences to ensure adequate coverage
• Maintaining accurate records of employee absences and leave balances
• Review staffing with the CNO to ensure adherence to safety standards
• Assist with the hiring process and arranging interviews for nursing candidates
• Ensure training and orientation of nursing staff is current
• Prepare daily staffing reports and monthly agency usage reports

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

• Education: High School Degree or equivalent; or Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
• Experience: Two (2) years of related experience, with a knowledge of psychiatric patient care techniques and an understanding of mental illness, is preferred.
• Additional Skill Requirements: Proficiency in Excel is required. Ability to stay organized and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work occasional overtime and flexible hours as requested.

Compensation: 

This is a full-time role; the expected compensation range is $25.00 - $30.00 hourly $2,000 SIGN-ON BONUS. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Staffing Coordinator!
