We are seeking a full-time Surveillance Operator to join our Surveillance Department! The Surveillance Operator will be responsible for safeguarding the assets and liabilities of Wild Bill’s Tobacco. The ideal candidate will be expected to observe, monitor, and report on all activities that take place within the company premises while maintaining discretion in all procedures and policies of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Prioritize the protection of company assets and liabilities while ensuring compliance with operating procedures and policies.
- Regulate the safety and confidentiality of employees and customers within our locations.
- Conduct routine surveillance of company premises and cash-handling areas.
- Upholds strict confidentiality of all company related matters.
- Utilizes necessary surveillance and security equipment to identify, record, and document illegal activity and security breaches or safety hazards in areas under surveillance.
- Conduct thorough analysis of video footage and provide detailed reports for miscellaneous ticket requests.
- Prepare daily reports and logs for designated personnel.
- Responsible for setting up surveillance equipment within the store and ensure they are operating correctly.
- Provide surveillance access to appointed employees.
- Monitors company premises to ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations in conjunction with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other surveillance-related tasks as assigned.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Knowledgeable in operation of cameras and surveillance software.
- 1 (one) year of applicable experience preferred.
- Experience working in a Retail setting preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
- Excellent observational skills and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or related software preferred.
