Hydroponic & indoor/outdoor grow supply store in Geneseo, NY is seeking Part Time Sales Associates.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for as well as prior hands on experience with indoor and/or outdoor gardening.

Skills

• Prior sales experience in a retail setting is highly recommended.
• Experience with indoor gardening, outdoor gardening and/or hydroponics is preferred.
• Thorough Knowledge of growing supplies/plant nutrients a plus
• Strong communication skills
• Must be comfortable working alone or as a team
• Desire to learn as well as educate
• Computer literacy required
• A high school degree or GED preferred
• The ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
• Punctual/reliable

Duties

• Answer questions, troubleshoot issues, and offer suggestions
• Assist customers with product selection
• Develop and maintain ongoing customer relationships
• Meeting or exceed sales goals
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Assist with checking in orders
• Maintain accurate inventory counts

Pay

• $15.50-$16/hour plus commission. Wage is commensurate with experience.
