Job Description:

As a Sales Representative at Smoker's World, you will be the face of our store, responsible for providing outstanding customer service and driving sales of our tobacco products. You will assist customers in finding the perfect products to suit their needs, offering guidance and expertise on our wide range of offerings. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and provide assistance in locating products.
• Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings, including cigars, cigarettes, pipes, and accessories, in order to effectively assist customers and make recommendations.
• Sales: Actively engage with customers to drive sales by providing personalized recommendations, upselling products, and promoting special offers or promotions.
• Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system, handling cash and card payments securely.
• Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking inventory, ensuring shelves are neatly organized and well-stocked at all times.
• Store Maintenance: *Strictly Important* Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including dusting shelves, sweeping floors, and cleaning display cases.
• Compliance: Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding the sale of tobacco products, including age verification procedures.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations and provide support as needed.

Qualifications:

• At least one year previous retail experience, preferably in a tobacco shop or similar environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in using a point-of-sale system.
• Knowledge of tobacco products and industry trends is a plus.
• Must be at least 21.
