Purpose of Role

The Site Manager directs the overall activity of the carwash site by leading and developing the site-level team to provide excellent customer service. This person is accountable for all financial goals and objectives of ownership. In addition, the Site Manager is responsible for ensuring that everything in the carwash is effectively managed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drives quality and exceptional customer service through the daily management of all site-level employees and initiatives. Ensures that all customer issues are handled, and customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Manages the volume, throughput, and sales of the site by directing onsite activities and sales efforts.
  • Prepares deposits, safe reconciliations, and any other company-required reports on time.
  • Leads recruiting, hiring, scheduling, and training activities to ensure that the site is adequately staffed and trained at all times. Addresses employee performance issues and holds all site-level employees accountable for delivering company objectives.
  • Manages and monitors site-level cleanliness, service, and equipment operations by leading the team on all necessary activities. These activities include preventative maintenance, daily opening and closing routines, and equipment troubleshooting. Conducts equipment repairs proactively.
  • Manages the damage claim process effectively and according to company guidelines.
  • Creates and promotes a safe work environment by holding employees accountable to company safety guidelines and training.
  • Works 45-50 hours per week and sets the example for productivity.
  • Any and all other responsibilities assigned by ownership or upper management.

Experience and Skill Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in service or retail management preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and ability to learn carwash IT systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Mechanical and chemical knowledge and aptitude
  • Ability to learn and operate all machinery
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, kneel, and carry heavy items
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Technical or college degree preferred but not required
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test
  • Must have valid driver’s license and car insurance

Pay is $55,000 to $65,000 based on experience.
