Smith Pipeline Inc. is an underground utility contractor (water, storm, forcemain and sewer) that works regularly in metro-Atlanta and surrounding areas. We have 30 years of experience specializing in municipal rehabilitation projects. Our company takes pride in providing solutions to the underground utility infrastructure.

We are seeking candidates for various positions including Pipe Foreman. The position requires technical aptitude and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team. An experienced Pipe Foreman will be responsible and accountable for a waterline crew.

Responsibilities:

• Primary function of a Pipe Foreman is to act as the main line operator(excavator, skid steer, backhoe) in the installation of pipe (water, sewer, and storm).
• Report to superintendent and owner
• Coordinate crew activities
• Follow plans to ensure productivity of crew to meet goals
• Excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and problem solving
• Clean MVR, Drug Free, Follow Safety guidelines, and Dependable
• Will consider hiring an entire crew
• Sign on Bonus available
• Familiar with materials, tools, and equipment used in pipe installation (DIP, PVC, Copper, Poly, DI Fittings, Brass Fittings, Excavators, Skid Steers, Chop Saws, Copper Cutters, Poly Cutters, Flaring Tool, Fire Hydrant Wrench, Combo Wrenches, Shovels, Rakes, Brooms, etc.)

Qualifications:

• 18 Years of Age
• Pass E-Verify
• Pass Drug Test
• Have transportation to and from jobsite every work day
• Trench Excavation Training (Competent Person, Confined Space, Flagging, and/or OSHA)
• 4 Years of Experience in Water, Sewer, Forcemain and/or Storm. Heavy emphasis on operating equipment
• 2 Years of Experience in a supervisory role
• Ability to lift and/or move heavy materials up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions
• Ability to lead crew members

Majority of work is in Cobb county and surrounding areas. Guaranteed check every Friday!

Pay: $1,250.00 - $1,800.00 per week
