Smith Performance Center (SPC) is a growth-minded, team-based health and fitness practice located in beautiful Tucson, Arizona. At SPC, we offer physical therapy services along with our strength training gym, which integrates physical therapy, strength training, and wellness programming for our members. 

Our physical therapy services, called Physical Therapy Solutions, is a one-of-a-kind, results-driven program that uses a true team approach to get the best results. We leverage the collective knowledge of our team along with data tracking and weekly training to constantly upgrade the care provided to our patients.

About You:

You are this person if you:

• Love working with patients and figuring out complex issues that have not improved in traditional rehab settings. 
• Enjoy thinking about patient presentations and don’t get discouraged with failure because you know persistence is critical.
• Enjoy working with a team, reviewing your caseload, and co-treating with your colleagues.
• Receiving feedback on your successes and areas to improve in our weekly 2-hour PT Learning Meetings and monthly one-on-one meetings with the PT Clinical Director.
• Have a growth mindset and want to get better at your craft.
• Want to provide the entire physical therapy experience and do not want to use assistants to provide critical pieces of your treatment.
• Believe physical therapy can be incredibly effective and improve the lives of individuals in our community.

Job Description

We are looking for the right physical therapist to fill a full-time position that requires 28-30 patients per week. We also require participation in our weekly learning and staff meetings.

Job Duties

• Evaluate, examine, treat, and manage plans of care for 28-30 patients per week (based on one-hour sessions)
• Complete administration work required for patient caseload 
• Work with our team of physical therapists, administrative staff, and coaches when needed to provide the best course of care
• Perform consistent and systematic physical therapy in line with SPC Physical Therapy Solutions standards
• Work with PT Clinical Director and administrative team to maximize your available schedule, and maintain contact with clients during and after physical therapy
• Become an awesome team member that makes SPC a better place to work and achieve better results with patients
• Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee

Job Qualifications Essential:

• Great with people
• Must have a growth mindset
• Enthusiastic about working with a team
• Degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution
• Licensed to practice physical therapy in the state of Arizona
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in practice (does not need to be in outpatient setting)

Ideal Candidate Qualities

• Experience with customer service
• An Ideal Team Player (humble, hungry for improvement and success, and great with people)
• Basic computer skills
• Passionate about the field of physical therapy

Other Requirements 

• This is a 32-40 hour per week job with autonomy in schedule. We do not require weekends.
