Our growing non profit community health based organization has an exciting new opportunity for a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in an outpatient clinic setting located in Ossining NY. As the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, you would be joining a collaborative team of physicians and NP’s and be providing women’s health treatment to patients within the underserved community. Our organization treats over 20,000 patients every year throughout Westchester, Putnam, and Duchess County. This would be a full time permanent job opportunity with full benefits included. You would be working either 5 8 hour shifts M-F or we also offer 4 10 hour shifts as well. There are no weekends or on call included in this role. Please see job highlights below.

Title: Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Location: Ossining NY
Salary: $125,000 to $150,000

Responsibilities:
Providing primary care for expecting mothers
Diagnosing and treating patients
Collaborating with physicians
STD Testing and treatment for expecting patients
Education women on safety protocols and pain management techniques
Documenting notes in EMR system
Doing health evaluations
Prescribing medication when appropriate
Recording blood pressure and temperature readings
Assisting patients with creating birth plans
Monitoring health of pregnant women and unborn babies
Providing advice on feeding newborns and diet/exercise

Requirements:
Board Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
Active or in process New York state medical license
Graduate of accredited schooling program

Strong communication skills
