SMILEXP PLLC is Hiring a Revenue Cycle Specialist Near Winter, FL

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Revenue Cycle Specialist is primarily responsible to managing meaningful use, credit balances, credentialing follow up, claim follow up, patient statements, posting and verification.
JOB DUTIES:
· Provides patient revenue management support throughout the revenue cycle, to include but not limited to: Billing and Collections, managing meaningful use, credit balances, credentialing follow up, claim follow up, patient statements, posting and verification. · Will initiate and develop relationships with customers in order to gather and process information or resolve issues in order to receive accurate reimbursement and optimize internal and external customer satisfaction. · Answer and resolve inbound inquiries and issues regarding patient account statements, explanation of benefits, balance due, and other patient and insurance billing scenarios; Billing- sending out claims and patient statements for reimbursement · Low payment monitoring and resolving of outstanding balances. · Self-pay analysis; Trend analysis of account receivables; Denials review and resolution. · Researches any overdue account balance that is fully or partially unpaid and follows up by mail and/or phone to insurance carriers or customers on delinquent payments. · Reviews claims denied for payment and underpaid claims. Verifies payment information adjustments to administrator.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· High School Diploma or equivalent required. · One year of healthcare clerical experience or healthcare admitting experience or applicable insurance billing or credit/collections experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office basic applications required
  • Demonstrated ability with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Advanced degree
  • Additional professional experience
  • Healthcare insurance verification experience
