Seeking a dynamic and professional Dental Assistant to join our team! This position is full-time Monday- Thursday with excellent pay. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and have excellent communication skills and social skills. The office uses state of the art materials, technology, and equipment. Job Description:

The duties of a dental assistant are among the most comprehensive and varied in the dental office. The dental assistant performs many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills. Responsibilities may include:

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Taking digital x-rays and cbct.
• Asking about the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse
• Serving as an infection control officer, developing infection control protocol and preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
• Helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
• Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling)
• Taking impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• RDA Certificate
• Open Dental software experience is a plus
• Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professionalism in all aspects of the job
• Good grooming and professional image
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.11 - $22.98 per hour
