Smiles in the Pines is Hiring a Part-time Associate Dentist Near Pinehurst, NC

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Associate Dentist to join our boutique dental practice. As an Associate Dentist, you will work alongside our experienced team to provide high-quality dental care to our patients. This is a part-time position with competitive compensation. Our practice offers holistic dental care including airway focused dentistry, dental sleep medicine, ozone therapy, and laser therapy. Our ideal dentist is interested in holistic dentistry.

Responsibilities:

- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and crowns

- Conduct routine dental examinations and provide preventive care

- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions

- Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans for patients

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems

- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school

- Valid state dental license

- Must be interested in holistic dentistry and willing to learn about holistic topics including but certainly not limited to: use of ozone, material toxicity, and SMART certification (see IAOMT for more info).

- Familiarity with dental practice management software

- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health systems

- Ability to assess patient needs and develop appropriate treatment plans

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
