**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality patient care. **Responsibilities:** - Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies - Maintain accurate patient records **Requirements:** - Completion of an accredited dental assistant program or equivalent experience - X-Ray certification preferred - Proficient in infection control procedures - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations - Experience with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or CAD - Familiarity with medical imaging techniques - Understanding of medical terminology and coding **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Experience with medical coding systems If you are a dedicated Dental Assistant with a passion for patient care and a desire to work in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
