A Day in the Life of an Dental Assistant at Smile Makers
  • Arriving 30 minutes before start time to be ready to go at 10 AM
  • Working with a driven team of 5 other Dental Assistants.
  • Caring for patients who are in all surrounding of Northern Virginia
  • Working in an office that is diverse where the team altogether speaks more than 10 languages!
  • Treating every patient like family.
  • Seeing between 25-50 patients each day
  • Assisting through procedures in all areas of the clinical space, i.e room setup/breakdown, four handed dentistry, sterilization, etc
  • Contributing to supply and inventory management
  • Using all equipment with care and ownership
  • Improving daily on essential tasks such as taking quality x rays, suctioning, and
  • patients care
  • Supporting the hygienist is all aspects of preventative and periodontal procedures
  • Completing opening and closing duties as team

treatment case acceptance, reappointment rate, and meeting provider production
goals weekly and providing interactive support and training to
set you up to succeed!
