Our Snow Sports School Instructor will provide quality ski/snowboard instruction to groups and individuals in a safe and fun manner while upholding the Skier Safety Act rules/regulations and Company guidelines. Instructors will be provided training for their job no experience needed. Join for a season or make it a career.

Requirements

Job Performance Expectations:

· Be a skilled skier or rider and participate in provided training sessions for Level 1 certification by Professional Ski Instructors of America/American Association of Snowboard Instructors. 

· Upholding the highest levels of guest safety on varied terrain in high altitude, with varying winter weather conditions.

· Clearly and accurately instructing assigned levels of skiing or snowboarding to students, both physically and verbally.

· Ensuring that students are matched to appropriate skier/snowboarding skill level and working with supervisors/managers to make appropriate changes when necessary.

· Assisting guests to load and unload the chairlift.

· Communicating instructions and helping guests to their feet during a lesson; lifting children (if applicable).

· Work with guests of all ages and abilities.

· When working with children: supervising children in class at all times; assisting at lunch and snack times; ensuring return of children to identified guardian.

· When working with children: assisting in operational responsibilities of Ski & Snowboard programs including but not limited to registration process, directing guests to appropriate equipment fitting source, upkeep of outdoor teaching areas, and cleanliness of facilities.

· Be able to work with other instructors in the Snow sports School.

· Complete all HR required documentations

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

· Great attitude, positive mindset, and able to adapt to an ever-changing company.

· Be at least 18 years of age.

· No teaching experience necessary

· Able to report to work on time – reliable transportation and punctual

· Provide exceptional guest service.

· Available to work weekends and holidays.

· Able to work under stressful and socially demanding conditions.

· Able to respond productively to directions.

Physical Requirements

· Ski/Snowboard at an intermediate or above level 

· Walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain

· Climb/descend stairs

· Ski/Snowboard and stand for long periods of time

· Bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift, and carry objects that may be heavy (50 lbs)

Work Environment

Based primarily outside and is exposed to extreme temperatures, sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (9,000ft ).
