We currently have an exciting opportunity in our Molding department for a Material Handler at our Devens, MA location.

Prepare resin for scheduled work centers on the molding room floor. Set up and manage resin preparation, delivery, and all ancillary equipment both in the preparation and press side job sites. Perform line clearance of all resin/equipment at the end of work orders and for the return of unused resin to inventory in IQMS.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurate and timely resin material preparation, delivery, and retrieval to the correct work centers.
• Accurate move transactions in the IQMS system
• Cleanliness management of preparation sites and press side charging operations.
• Compliance to company Policy, Federal OSHA regulations, and industry cGMP expectations.
• Regular attendance and professionalism.
• Properly package and label resin and product.
• Maintenance of grinder equipment and scrap preparation for disposal.
• Measure, weigh or count materials and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated abilities in prioritization, multi-tasking, problem solving while maintaining strong attention to detail and willingness to collaborate in a team environment. Embraces teamwork.
• Production experience required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to read and interpret DHRs (Device History Record).
• Proficient mathematical skills to successfully complete tasks
• Knowledge and use of scales.
• Forklift experience preferred. (Position must be SMC Forklift Certified before operating forklift).
• Competent in the use of computers, basic Microsoft Suite software, bar code readers, with the ability to access and enter data as necessary.
• Knowledge of IQMS preferred.
• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking pushing, pulling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
• The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.

ADA Requirements:

• Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move frequently
• Occasional repetitive motion and grasping
• Occasional climbing to reach areas on machines or racks
• Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently
• Typically sits, grasps items or performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
• Exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards which may require respiratory protection
