We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team, specializing in operating hydraulic press machinery including dishers and flangers for tank head production. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality products efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and prepare hydraulic press machines (disher and flanger) for production according to specified requirements.
• Operate hydraulic press machinery to form, shape, and finish tank heads according to work orders and engineering drawings.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and identify any maintenance needs.
• Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety guidelines and protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and targets.
• Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with hydraulic press operations, specifically disher and flanger machines, is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality standards.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational training or certification in machine operation or related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in tank head manufacturing or metal fabrication is advantageous.
